Blackpool-based specialist accountants for contractors, Danbro, has added another three recruits to its team as the firm continues to buck the economic downturn with its umbrella and limited company services, aimed at the thousands of temporary and freelance workers in the UK.

Zoe Irvine and Aqsa Mirza have joined Danbro's new business team, responsible for building relationships with recruitment agencies and new clients, as the company continues looking out for new business opportunities.

Meanwhile Gerry Gregoire has returned to the firm in a marketing role to produce material for Danbro's website, blogs and social networking sites, and will also be working alongside the new business team.

The trio's arrival brings the total number of new staff recruited this year to eleven. The year has also seen the company expand into Manchester, following the opening of a London office last July.

Damian Broughton, partner at Danbro, said: "We're delighted to welcome Zoe, Aqsa and Gerry to Danbro. They've all settled in quickly and are proving valuable additions to the team. I'm very pleased that Danbro is able to continue growing and creating jobs, even during the current economic downturn".

"In uncertain times, using contractors can help companies keep overheads down and flexibility up, and by working with us contractors can save time on paperwork and concentrate on what they do best."
